About JCI Bangladesh
JCI Bangladesh is the national organization and is one of the active and result-driven youth national organizations of South Asia.
The organization has been contributing to creating leaders and resulting in sustainable positive impacts in society. JCI Bangladesh has been arranging numerous activities throughout the year. Some of the key activities are ‘JCI Smart Bangladesh Summit, Expo & CYE Award’, ‘JCI Bangladesh TOYP’, JCI Bangladesh Debate & Public Speaking, and JCI Bangladesh Academy.
Currently, JCI Bangladesh has over 40 Local Organizations (LO) with more than 5000 members all around the country under the strong leadership of Mr. Imran Kadir (National President, 2024).

The first local Junior Chamber chapter was founded in 1915, but the international umbrella organization Junior Chamber International (JCI) was founded in Mexico in 1944. It has consultative status with the Council of Europe, the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations and UNESCO.”

How We Work?
The organization offers an avenue for individual development and cross-cultural understanding through opportunities like volunteering and interning abroad.
- Local Organizations (LOs): Community-based chapters that manage local projects and leadership development.
- National Organizations (NOs): Oversee and support LOs at a national level, organizing broader initiatives.
- International Board: Guides global strategy, oversees international events, and maintains organizational standards.
- Signature Programs & Global Events and Resources: Includes international conferences and publications to facilitate networking and knowledge sharing.
JCI’s structure integrates local actions with global objectives, empowering young leaders to create positive change worldwide. JCI’s signature programs include the Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World (TOYP) program, which recognizes young individuals who have made significant contributions to their communities, and the JCI Active Citizen Framework, a tool that helps members plan, implement, and evaluate impactful community projects. The framework includes community assessment, project planning, project implementation, and project evaluation.
